How to Earn Gil in Final Fantasy XIV
Final Fantasy XIV offers several ways for players to earn FFXIV Gil, such as completing quests, crafting items, or using the market board. On this platform, players can sell items they have made or found which could interest others; such as gear made by minions or furnishings with unique dyes.
1. Crafting
Crafting is one of the fastest ways to earn Gil in FFXIV. After every patch, demand for new items spikes dramatically and crafters can quickly make substantial sums of money quickly through this method - but be warned: crafting is time consuming and requires initial investment of melded gear so as to compete in today's market.
Other methods include questing, dungeons and killing monsters - which all provide small amounts of Gil per run but can add up over time. Keep in mind that how much Gil you receive depends on when the patch cycle was released!
Treasure Map Parties offer players another means of earning Gil. 2. Gathering
Even though many players make a great living from dungeons and crafting, their income from these sources alone cannot guarantee consistent earnings. Treasure Maps can be obtained by purchasing them on the Market Board using high level Disciple of Land professions such as Miner, Fisher or Botanist and have a small chance of unlocking portals to treasure dungeons where players can kill monsters for random amounts of gil.

Start doing Ventures by collecting Venture Currency. This currency can be obtained through Beast Tribe quests and Guildleves or trading Grand Company Seals with Grand Companies. As gamers complete more Ventures, their rank increases and the rewards become increasingly lucrative.
Retainers on Ventures may come back home with gear, furniture, dyes and minions that they can sell on the Market Broad or turn in to their Grand Companies as crafting materials - potentially earning them more Ventures or Seals in return.
4. Teleporting
Gil is one of the primary resources in Final Fantasy XIV. Players can use Gil to purchase weapons and customise characters or mounts; additionally it can be used to buy housing units and other in-game items.
Additionally, players can sell any unneeded equipment on the Market Board to other players or desynthesize gear in order to gather crafting parts for future crafting projects. Furthermore, Treasure Maps are available from high level Disciples of Hand and Land (Miners, Fishers and Botanists), so players may even collect one while gathering or on the Market Board and make money as they complete them!
These methods may quickly increase gil, but may not be sustainable in the long run. Therefore, they should only be used as supplements to other methods of making money; combat is the surest way of earning it continuously.
